Welcome to the world of Vic Napier, where curiosity fuels exploration and data meets subjective assumptions. I love sitting at the intersection of economics, psychology and technology exploring their nuances and discovering insights.
Very early in my writing career I developed an interest going behind the headlines to find out for myself what was driving events. I developed an interest in identifying economic and labor trends and learned about statistics and econometrics.
This interest led me to pursue graduate education beginning in 2000. I chose George Fox University for my MBA training because it is a Quaker school with a reputation for business ethics and social conscience. Later I studied Organizational Psychology and Statistics at Walden University.
My PhD studies concentrated on organizational culture, advanced statistics, research methods and academic writing. That experience provides me with strong business and technical writing skills, research and interviewing experience and a high degree of autonomy and self-direction. My professional studies taught me to evaluate trends and statistics, perform strategic analysis for business startups, including developing pro forma financials, and legal and demographic issues. I operated consultancies and wrote business, finance and marketing plans for startups and small business. This quickly turned into writing business and finance proposals.
With a rich educational background spanning from Organizational Psychology to Political Science and Psychology, my academic journey and business experiences have equipped me with an understanding of human behavior, organizational dynamics and statistical methodologies. At this stage in my career, I now turn to the insurance industry in order to help families analyze their needs and craft long term financial plans bringing security and peace of mind.
